About Zula
Because it is important to know who you are hiring, I would like to introduce myself and tell you a little bit about who I am.
My name is Nick Salaber. Throughout my life I have been taught the importance of work ethic, respect and above all, character. These values have proven to create amazing opportunities in my life and are what I expect of myself in all ventures. I am a firm believer that how you do one thing, is often how you do all things.
I was born and raised in the small agricultural town of Dixon, California. From that town, I was able to find success in the classroom as well as on the sports field. I earned the honor of playing for the High-School All-American Rugby team. Shortly after, I was recruited to play at UC Berkeley from where I graduated with a Major in City Planning, as well as a Division 1A National Title. During that time is where I received my first (official) paycheck in the construction industry, working as a Civil Inspector.
After I had completed schooling and saved funds, I decided to travel. I eventually made my way to Australia, where I began working as a laborer on a custom home building site. My upbringing in work ethic and accountability once again provided an opportunity. At twenty-four years old, was named foreman of that building operation. I stayed in Australia for nearly a year before heading home again.
Once I returned; I went back to work as a Civil Inspector, met and married my wife, and we had our first child. At that time, we decided that we would have to leave home for the beautiful state of Idaho. I once again joined a laboring crew building custom homes. This continued for three years before returning to my career in Civil Inspections.
Currently I am; working as Civil Inspector, happily married with two children, coaching youth rugby and soccer, and pursuing business ownership.
Throughout my life, I have learned just how unique the opportunity of business ownership is. I feel very fortunate to live in a country that fosters work ethic and encourages personal development. I hope this biography gives you a small insight into who you will be hiring. I look forward to working with you and appreciate your business.
Thank you,
Nick Salaber
